1. General terms of sale

1.1 The contract stipulated between Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale and the Customer must be considered concluded with the acceptance of the order by Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale. In the event that, the order includes two or more articles with one (or more) items not being in stock or available for shipping, Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale will inform the customer of the possibility of partial evasion of the order and after receiving the customer’s confirmation, it will proceed with the order’s processing according to our warehouse supply times.

By placing an order in the various ways provided, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided to him/her during the purchase procedure, and to fully accept the general conditions and payment conditions transcribed below.

1.2 If the customer is a consumer (i.e., an individual purchasing jewelry for personal use and not for professional or business purposes), he/she can appeal to these terms of sale, in compliance with the provisions of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/05) on distant selling in case of issues with the placed orders. 

2. Purchasing methods

2.1 The Customer can only buy the jewelry pieces visible on the online store at the moment of the order placement, as they are described on the product information page: the pictures of the articles on those pages might be not fully representative of the product’s features and the jewelry may differ in some details, as it is handcrafted. 

“Handcrafted” means that the jewelry items are primarily or entirely made by hand, rather than being mass-produced by machines. While some handcrafted pieces may incorporate pre-made components, the key characteristic is that a significant portion of the creation process involves hands-on work, including shaping, assembling and finishing. Due to Gioielli di Valenza artisanal manufacturing process, some products’ features such as stones’ dimensions and item weight are to be intended as approximative. Additionally, every handcrafted jewelry piece could differ in small details highlighting their uniqueness. 

2.2 The order confirmation will be sent to the Customer by email at the address used for the order placement. The confirmation message will contain the order’s date and time as well as the order reference number that needs to be used in any further communication with the company. The order’s confirmation email also contains the order recap, so that the customer will be able to verify the given information and point out possible mistakes to our customer care. service

2.3 In the case of non-acceptance of the order, Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale ensures that it will inform the Customer promptly. 

3. Payment options

3.1 The data used during the purchase procedure will be directly transmitted from the user’s bank account to the bank in charge of the transaction and they will not be retained by Gioielli di Valenza. 

Therefore, Gioielli di Valenza can never be held liable for any fraudulent and undue use of credit cards or information by third parties.

4. Shipment and delivery

4.1 Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale can accept orders only with delivery in the EU territory.

4.2 Gioielli di Valenza will issue a sales document containing the purchase information for every order placed on www.jewels-gv.com, pursuant to Article 14 of the Presidential Decree 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. 

The company can also issue invoices upon customer’s request, which must be sent before the shipment with the required data; after the sales document is issued, any change will be impossible. 

4.3 The customer will only have to pay for the purchased items, as Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale will bear the shipping costs. 

The customer is free to choose the preferred payment options. 

No additional costs are required from the customer. 

4.4 No responsibility can be attributed to Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale in case of delay in the delivery of the order.

4.5 At the time of delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer is required to check: a) that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document; b) that the packaging is intact, undamaged, not wet or otherwise altered, even in the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

4.6 If there is any damage to the packaging and/or the product, it must be immediately contested, by writing “GOODS UNCHECKED/ RISERVA DI CONTROLLO" on the courier’s proof of delivery form (SPECIFYING THE REASON OF THE RESERVE, e.g. “broken packaging paper”, “crushed wrapping paper”, etc.)

Once the courier’s document has been signed, the Customer cannot make any objection regarding the external characteristics of the goods delivered.

4.7 Any problems about the physical integrity, completeness or conformity of the received jewelry (in particular the absence of the sales document and of the quality certificate) must be reported within 7 days from the delivery date, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this document.

4.8 In the event of no withdrawal within 10 working days of the items in storage at the courier’s warehouse placed there due to the repeated inability to deliver to the address indicated by the customer when ordering, the goods (jewelry) will be returned to Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale Head Quarters. We will retain the amount corresponding to the cost of the storage of the goods at the Courier warehouses as well as the transportation fee of the goods to its warehouses. 

4.9 Should the purchaser fail to collect the goods within three months, Gioielli di Valenza shall deem the goods to be abandoned, including as a penalty and withheld an amount equal to the cost of the goods as a penalty.

4.10 Our jewelry will be shipped only inside the EU by courier and delivered upon signature.

5. Quality certificate, warranty and repairs

5.1 Gioielli di Valenza jewelry will always be shipped with a quality certificate issued by the company, which ensures the product’s features and quality, such as the gold alloy in thousandths and its weight, the carat weight of the gemstones and their cut.

5.2 We can collect the goods (jewelry) at one of our physical stores Italy in order to repair them, in the event of a fault, using them of the guarantee.

5.3 The repairs, done during the warranty period, are carried out free of charge but the customer shall bear the shipment costs.

Therefore, Gioielli di Valenza warranty represents a quality certification and covers only quality-related issues. Hence, it does not cover any damage caused by wear and tear or improper use of the jewelry

Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale recommends wearing the jewel regularly for one check. If requested by the customer, the jewelry piece will be checked and cleaned.
