1. General terms of sale

1.1 The contract stipulated between Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale and the Customer must be considered concluded with the acceptance of the order by Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale. In the event that, faced of an order of two or more items, Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale it will not be able to fulfill it entirely due to the lack of one or more items in stock, it will inform the customer of the possibility of partial evasion and after receiving confirmation it will proceed with the processing of the order according to the warehouse supply times.

This acceptance is considered tacit, unless otherwise communicated to the Customer in any way. By placing an order in the various ways provided, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided to him during the purchase procedure, and to fully accept the general conditions and payment conditions transcribed below.

1.2 If the customer is a consumer (i.e. a person who buys the goods for personal purposes not related to his profession), he/she can appeal to this terms sales, in compliance with the provisions of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/05) on distant selling in case of problems with the orders placed. 

2. Purchasing methods

2.1 The Customer can only buy the jewels present on the online store at the moment of the order placement, as they are described on the product information page: the pictures of the articles on those pages might be not fully representative of the product’s features and the jewel may differ in some details, as it is handcrafted. 

With “handcrafted” we mean that the jewels are worked with accuracy and not mass-produced; therefore it can be considered as a single piece and some of its values, such as its weight should be considered as approximative. For all these reasons every handcrafted jewel could differ in small details that could highlight its uniqueness. 

2.2 The order confirmation will be sent to the Customer by email at the address used for the order placement. The confirmation message will contain the date and time when the order was placed and the order reference number that needs to be used in any further communication with the company. The message also contains an order recap, so that the customer could verify the given information and point out possible mistakes to our customer care.  

2.3 In the case of non-acceptance of the order, Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale ensures that will inform the Customer promptly. 

3. Payment options

3.1 The bank data used during the purchase procedure will be directly transmitted from the user’s bank account to the site of the bank in charge of the transaction and they will not be retained by Gioielli di Valenza. 

Therefore Gioielli di Valenza can never be held liable for any fraudulent and undue use of credit cards or information by third parties.

4. Shipment and delivery

4.1 Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale can accept orders only with delivery in EU territory.

4.2 Gioielli di Valenza will issue a sales document containing the purchase information for every order placed on www.jewels-gv.com, pursuant to Article 14 of the Presidential Decree 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. 

The company can also issue invoices upon customer’s request, which must be sent before the shipment with the required data; after the issue of the sales document, any change will be impossible. 

4.3 The customer has just to pay for the purchased jewels, as Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale will bear the shipping costs. 

The customer is free to choose the preferred payment options. 

No additional costs are required to the customer. 

4.4 No responsibility can be attributed to Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale in case of delay in the order or delivery of the order.

4.5 At the time of delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer is required to check: a) that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document; b) that the packaging is intact, undamaged, wet or otherwise altered, even in the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

4.6 If there is any damage to the packaging and/or the product, it must be immediately contested, by writing “GOODS UNCHECKED/ RISERVA DI CONTROLLO" on the courier’s proof of delivery form (SPECIFYING THE REASON OF THE RESERVE, eg “perforated packaging paper”, “crushed wrapping paper”, etc.

Once the courier’s document has been signed, the Customer can not make any objection regarding the external characteristics of the goods delivered.

4.7 Any problems about the physical integrity, completeness or likeness of the jewels purchased, in particular the absence of the sales document and of the quality certificate must be reported within 7 days from the delivery date, according to the procedures provided for in this document.

4.8 In the event of lacked withdrawal within 10 working days of the material in storage at the warehouse of the courier because of repeated inability to deliver to the address indicated by the customer when ordering, the order will be returned to the stores of Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale, which will retain the amount corresponding to the cost of the storage of the goods at the Courier warehouses as well as the transportation fee of the goods to its warehouses.

4.9 In the event of a lack of withdrawal by the buyer within 3 months, Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale will retain the goods damaged, also as a penalty, and withheld an amount equal to the cost of the goods as a penalty.

4.10 Our jewels will be shipped only inside the EU by courier against his signature.

5. Quality certificate and warranty

5.1 Gioielli di Valenza jewels will always be shipped with a quality certificate issued by the company, which ensures the product’s features, such as the gold alloy in thousandths and its weight, the carat weight of the gemstones and their cut.

We are ready to collect the goods at one of our physical stores in order to be able to repair them, in the event of a fault, using them of the guarantee.

Since warranty repairs are carried out free of charge, the purchaser shall bear the costs to carry out any shipment.

Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale guarantees the characteristics of its production of the object.

Therefore the warranty is considered quality and does not cover any damage caused by wear or due to a bad person's use of the jewel itself. Gioielli di Valenza SpA Unipersonale recommends wearing the jewel regularly for one check. On occasion, the same will be checked and cleaned.
